
Andrew has been a financial planner for over 26 years and is the founder of Markham Financial Services, Inc. By combining his artistic skills with his formal math background, Andrew helps his clients address their financial goals while making sure that their life goals are brought to fruition. His practice is built upon the idea that every client deserves a seasoned advisor on their side of the table. With the ever-changing financial landscape, Andrew believes that thoughtful communication is critical to helping clients articulate what’s important to them and then matching their vision with a disciplined financial process.
Andrew has been a board member and past chairman for the Southern California Financial Planning Conference, which conducted and oversaw the financial planning industry conference for all the financial planners in Southern California. He is a member of the Orange County Chapter of the Financial Planning Association (the national body for the planning industry), as well as a member of the International Association of Registered Financial Consultants (RFC®). He was awarded the CWS® designation (Certified Wealth Strategist) which focuses solely on the issues that are unique to high net worth families. He additionally is licensed in life, disability, and long term care insurance (CA Insurance Lic #0784907). He has aligned himself with seasoned CPAs and well respected attorneys giving his clients additional confidence that their tax and estate concerns will be met.
With over 20 years of conducting financial planning seminars, Andrew has spoken to the public and industry colleagues alike, with the purpose of educating, informing, and even amusing.
Andrew and his wife Chris, reside in Orange County, California.
They both enjoy traveling and sharing those experiences on their travel blog “A Travel Mobius”.
Last but not least, every year for the last decade Andrew has been a top fundraiser and ridden in the MS Bay to Bay charity ride raising money for patient care and support for people with multiple sclerosis.
